Yes, I travel all over Devon and Cornwall (and beyond) usually the morning of your wedding. However, if your getting ready address is over 90 minutes travelling time one way I may need overnight accommodation which will be added to your quote. Please note I also charge 50 pence per mile.

I am trained and specialise in wedding and occasion hair only. All of my styles require you to have clean dry hair the morning of the wedding ready for me to style. May I suggest you contact a salon local to your venue for any blow-dry requirements?
This all depends on your ceremony time. I work backwards from your ceremony time by calculating how long I will need for each person. I need to make sure you all have enough time to get dressed therefore aim to have everyone ready an absolute minimum of 30-45 minutes before leaving/time of ceremony. For example, if your ceremony is at 3pm and you have 7 bridesmaids I would need to start at 7am. I can suggest lots of other local stylists that you can contact if you need a second stylist.
The ideal time for a trial is two or three months before the wedding day. I book out my diary for a couple of hours so we can have a cuppa and a proper chat about your dress, hair, flowers and theme. I will then try a few things until you are happy...sometimes it’s one style sometimes it’s three!
A trial is included in the fee for your hair and there is no discount for not having a trial as I strongly encourage you to have one. I can only offer trials during the week as I often have a wedding on a Saturday and Sunday is a family day for us.
I have a gorgeous home salon (log cabin) from which I do all my trials. This allows me to have absolutely everything I could need to hand and gives me more time to focus on creating your perfect bridal hair.
If you wash your hair every day then that is fine. All I ask is that your hair is clean and dry for your trial and on the wedding morning. It is more important than everyone’s hair is clean and dry before I come to style it on the wedding morning as I will not have time to dry hair then style. I prefer to work with clean hair as I have products to help with holding a curl and to give texture.
I allow 90 minutes for you and 60 minutes for other bridal party members. This may seem a long time but there is a lot of prep work needed for the styles I create for both up, half up and down looks. I also aim to have everyone's hair completed 30-45 minutes before you leave. This allows you time to get into your dresses, have photos and resolve any last-minute challenges. I do not leave until you are dressed and ready to leave for the ceremony. I then double-check everything before you go and get married.
To secure your wedding date I require a non-refundable £80 booking fee. This is non-refundable as I would have turned away other weddings on your date. In exceptional circumstances, this, of course, can be discussed. Terms and conditions will be sent with your quotation but are also available on request. Should your wedding need to be completely cancelled due to Covid-19 and you have not had your trial I will refund your booking fee. Please message me for further clarification regarding this situation.
My fees are carefully calculated to include experience, custom skills, insurance, products, tools, ongoing training, my administration tasks, trials, prep time and my time on your wedding day!
I love weddings and anything hair-up related. I specialise in bridal hair specifically as I enjoy this the most. On your wedding day (and before) I will do everything I can to make things run smoothly and will always be on hand to assist with hair and non-hair related things. This is not only a job for me it is a passion...
