I offer on-location bridal hair services throughout the South West and beyond, typically arriving on the morning of your wedding day. If your getting-ready location is more than 90 minutes away or requires me to leave before 6am, overnight accommodation will be required and will be factored into your quote.

I recommend scheduling your hair preview two to three months before the big day. I’ll reserve a couple of hours so we can relax, chat about your dress, hairstyle ideas, flowers, and wedding theme over a cuppa. During the session, I’ll try different styles until we find the perfect look. A preview is highly encouraged, as it allows me to determine which products and techniques work best with your hair.
If you're unable to attend an in-person salon preview due to distance or availability, I offer a 30-minute virtual consultation. During this video call, we’ll discuss your hair type, desired style, bridesmaids, timings, and all the details to ensure everything runs smoothly."
Bridal previews are held at my beautiful home salon (cabin) in South Devon, where I have everything on hand to ensure a relaxed and fully equipped environment. This allows me to dedicate more time and focus on creating your perfect bridal hairstyle. However, if needed, I can travel to you for the preview—please note that a travel fee will be added to your quote."
If you wash your hair daily, that's absolutely fine. All I ask is that your hair is clean and dry for both the preview and the wedding day. It’s especially important that everyone's hair is clean and dry before I arrive on the wedding morning, as I won’t have time to blow-dry and style. I actually prefer working with clean hair, as I have all the necessary products to help hold curls and add texture.
The start time for styling depends on your ceremony schedule. I work backwards from the ceremony time, calculating how long each person will need. To ensure you all have ample time to get dressed, I aim to have everyone fully styled at least 45 minutes, ideally 60 minutes, before you need to leave or the ceremony begins. For example, if your ceremony is at 1 pm and you have 3 bridesmaids, I would need to arrive by 7:15 am to begin styling at 7:30 am in order to finish all 4 of you on time.
The first thing to consider is that your bridesmaids should feel comfortable with their chosen hairstyle, whether it’s up, half-up, or down. I allocate 60 minutes per person, which may seem like a lot, but around 30-40 minutes of this time is dedicated to prep due to the intricacy of the styles I create. Some bridesmaids may take a little less or more time depending on their hair type and the style required.
When choosing a style, keep their hair type in mind—things like thickness, length, and whether it holds a curl. For instance, if you or they want a chunky braid but have fine hair, that may not be the best choice. Half-up or down styles often take longer to create than updos, so the full 60 minutes will likely be needed. We can discuss your bridesmaids’ hair in more detail during your preview.
I am trained and specialise in wedding and occasion hair only. All of my styles require you to have clean dry hair the morning of the wedding ready for me to style. May I suggest you contact a salon local to your venue for any blow-dry requirements?
Quality over quantity! I allow 90 minutes for you and 60 minutes for other bridal party members. This may seem a long time but there is a lot of prep work needed for the styles I create for both up, half up and down looks. I also aim to have everyone's hair completed 45/60 minutes before you leave. This allows you time to get into your dresses, have photos and resolve any last-minute things. However I do not leave until you are all dressed and ready to leave for the ceremony. I then double-check everything before you go and get married and snap a few photos for my social media.
To secure your wedding date I require a non-refundable fee of £150. This is non-refundable as I would have turned away other weddings on your date. In exceptional circumstances, this, of course, can be discussed. Terms and conditions will be sent with your quotation but are also available on request. £100 of this fee is prepayment for your hair preview and £50 booking fee to secure your date, making it exclusive to you and to cover admin and correspondence.
I am self-employed and my fees are carefully calculated to include my experience, custom skills, insurance, products, tools, ongoing training, my administration tasks, previews, prep time, travel and my time on your wedding day!
I absolutely love weddings and anything related to updos! Bridal hair is my specialty because it’s what I enjoy the most. On your wedding day—and in the lead-up to it—I’ll do everything I can to ensure things run smoothly. Whether it’s hair-related or not, I’m always here to help. Feel free to read through some of my reviews from past brides to see how I’ve supported them. For me, this is more than just a job—it’s my passion
